Audit Senior – Any Location
Frost, PLLC is a full-service accounting firm currently providing tax, assurance, small business, advisory, animal welfare, business valuation, and litigation services in 47 states. Frost services a range of clients, from individuals to billion dollar organizations. We have offices in Little Rock, AR; Fayetteville, AR; Scottsdale, AZ; Yuma, AZ; and Raleigh, NC. Our satellite offices are located in Denver, CO; Naples, FL; and LaBelle, FL.
Frost has an immediate opening for Audit Senior. This is a full time position and will be benefits eligible.
Responsibilities
• Prepare clear and concise work-papers with definitive conclusions.
• Prepare meaningful and well-written recommendations for inclusion in client correspondence.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify issues and apply accounting principles and auditing procedures appropriately.
• Exhibit the ability to prepare and/or draft accurate financial statements.
• Demonstrate the ability to determine technical issues, research such issues, and draw accurate conclusions.
• Resolve all open items and issues encountered on assigned engagements.
• Develop an understanding of the client’s business, its inherent risks, and the unique aspects of the client’s industry.
• Develop and maintain appropriate and positive working relationships with clients and clients’ staff.
• Travel required: Minimal (up to 25 days per year)
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Graduate degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience in Public Accounting preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Detail oriented
• Professionalism required
• Excellent problem-solving skills
